  1. Merchandising business should be able to find the right merchandising system that fits the current business set up to achieve their goals.
  2. Business owners should be open to the changing technological environment to remain competitive in the marketplace.
  3. Currently employed information systems should be utilized at their maximum capacity.
  4. Customer service is what retailing business all about and therefore, business owners should focus on how to meet customers’ satisfaction.
